Δυστυχώς, όσοι έχουν διαβάσει το βιβλίο θα απογοητευτούν, μιας και οι σκηνές σεξ είναι πολύ πιο light, προκειμένου να ανταποκριθούν στα standards του Χόλιγουντ.
Ευτυχώς όμως υπάρχουν άλλες ταινίες που συνδυάζουν το σεξ με την ευφυΐα και αναδεικνύουν το σέξι στοιχείο. Μπορεί να μην έχουν αλυσίδες, σαδομαζοχιστικές σκηνές και μαστίγια, κάποιες δεν δείχνουν καν σεξ. For once, a movie that focuses on the reactions to sex and sexuality rather than the actual act. Love & Basketball made it feel like the first time.
